I’m sure I heard that Spitting Image is returning (coincidence timing wise?), which always make me think of the Star Trekkin’ song from 1987 for sort of obvious reasons.

Not that this had anything to do with the naming of my brand-new product teaching readers all about how to land Non-Executive Director gigs.

It’s written from an experience viewpoint (as with all my products), seeing as I decided to pursue what they call a ‘portfolio career’ a couple of years ago post senior management corporate life burnout.

I was in my mid-thirties, various people told me I couldn’t land NED positions due to my age – so I decided to ignore them.

It’s worked out pretty well, and if you found me via LinkedIn you can see I currently hold positions on the Boards of rebuildingsociety.com (FinTech) and Apexxepa (Property).

They’re fun, reasonably lucrative (with lots of potential), and can cover off your monthly outgoings easier than slogging it out for 60-80 hours a week in a senior job where you may or may not get on with your boss.

In fact I’ll be amazed if you need to exchange that many hours each month, potentially in return for the same net income.

If you’re boldly going forward because you can’t find reverse, then take a look-see at the details here:

All the best,
